<br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />There are a few options available to the Council, three of which are listed below. There <br />are advantages and disadvantages to each option, which I will briefly highlight in the table <br />below: <br /> <br />Option Advantages Disadvantages <br />A. Select an executive <br />search firm <br />Experience, replacement <br />guarantees, broader base <br />of candidates <br /> <br />Cost <br />B. Request another City to <br />assist in process <br />Lower cost, familiarity with <br />metro area <br />Would not be a top priority, <br />less experienced at <br />executive searches, City <br />would still need to do some <br />of the work <br />C.
