<br />RESOLUTION NO. 5927 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING THE PURCHACE OF AUDIO EQUIPMENT FOR THE <br />BANQUET CENTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, audio equipment in the Banquet Center has been experiencing <br />excessive repairs and is inadequate for the needs of clients; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a proposal has been received to fix the problems with the <br />existing equipment and upgrade it to current technologies; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends the proposal of Electronic Communications <br />Systems, Inc. in the estimated amount of $5,186.44; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this project requires amending the 2003 budget for the <br />Banquet Center. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View that the proposal of Electronic Communication Systems, Inc. in the <br />estimated amount of $5,186.44 for audio equipment at the Banquet Center is approved; <br />and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that payment may be made after acceptance <br />of the work, which shall include schematic drawings, as built plans, equipment manuals, <br />manufacturer warranties, and demonstration that the system performs as promised. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2003 budget for Banquet Center <br />department of the Community Center is amended as follows: <br /> <br /> Revenues for equipment rental increased by $2,600 <br /> Expenses for supplies, equipment reduced by 500 <br /> Expenses for repairs, banquet door reduced by 2,100 <br /> Expenses for Capital Outlay for Equipment increased by $5,200 <br /> <br /> Adopted this 27th day of January, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> James Ericson, Interim City Administrator <br />SEAL
