<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO 5982 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING DISTRIBUTION OF SERVICE <br />APPRECIATION CERTIFICATES TO EMPLOYEES HAVING REACHED <br />FIVE-YEAR EMPLOYMENT MILESTONES <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution 5617 was adopted by the City Council on October 8, <br />2001; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, one of the clauses in Resolution 5617 indicates that the City will <br />provide to employees certificates in the amount of $5 per year of service at five-year <br />increments; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following individuals have achieved an employment milestone <br />with the City of Mounds View since the adoption of Resolution 5617; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, together the fourteen identified employees have a cumulative 200 <br />years of experience with the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />Employee Name Date of Hire Department Years of <br />Service <br />Terry Broos 05/15/1982 Police 20 <br />Reed Krogh 02/01/1977 Police 25 <br />Tom Baumgart 05/03/1993 Police 10 * <br />Mike Kampa 05/04/1987 Police 15 <br />Linda Meyer 10/12/1982 Police 20 <br />Jim Hess 02/25/1992 Public Works 10 <br />Steve Dazenski 06/22/1987 Public Works 15 <br />Bill Hanggi 04/16/1973 Public Works 30 <br />Bruce Meehan 03/03/1997 Public Works 5 <br />Tim Pittman 01/25/1983 Public Works 20 <br />Mike Schnur 05/29/1997 Public Works 5 <br />Peter Szurek 03/30/1998 Public Works 5 <br />Kathy Bednar 04/21/1987 Police 15 <br />Marge Norquist 08/12/1997 Finance 5 <br /> <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby appreciate and recognize the thirteen employees listed above for their <br />years of dedicated service and, pursuant to Resolution 5617, does hereby authorize the <br />distribution of Service Appreciation Certificates to each herein identified employee in <br />amounts equal to five times their years of service. <br />
