RESOLUTION NO. 6006 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FOR <br />PAYROLL/UTILITY BILLING TECHNICIAN DEBBIE JASPER FOR WORKING IN <br />HIGHER CLASSIFICATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Assistant City Administrator Givonna Reed resigned from her <br />position effective December 31, 2002; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, according to the policy adopted in Resolution 5626, an employee <br />may serve in an interim capacity to meet the needs of the vacant position with the <br />approval of the City Administrator and the City Council; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution 5626 establishes that additional compensation may be <br />authorized for employees serving in an interim capacity taking on higher classification <br />duties; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Jasper’s performance has been rated satisfactory or higher by <br />the Finance Director, who recommends Ms. Jasper be compensated for the higher <br />classification duties she has assumed in the absence of the Assistant City <br />Administrator. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize additional compensation to Payroll/Utility Billing Technician <br />Debbie Jasper at a rate of five percent (5%) of her base rate of pay retroactive to April <br />1, 2003. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 28th day of April, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, Interim City Administrator <br /> <br /> (SEAL)
