<br />RESOLUTION NO. 6012 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR THE VACANT PLANNING ASSOCIATE <br />POSITION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is currently a vacant position in the Community Development <br />Department, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the vacancy is such that staff is currently unable to provide a <br />minimum acceptable level of service to the community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of planning and <br />inspection activity in the City and desires to fill the vacancy created by the former <br />Planning Associate’s resignation in 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the job description for the position will be reviewed to establish an <br />appropriate salary range with such range requiring subsequent Council approval. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize the Community Development Department to advertise for the <br />two currently vacant positions. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 12th day of May, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> ________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
