RESOLUTION NO. 6019 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE CONTRACT AWARD FOR THE ANNUAL SANITARY <br />SEWER ROOT ABATEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City annually budgets and received bids for root removal <br />in the City‘s sanitary sewer system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Department solicited bids from several <br />companies and set a May 21, 2003 deadline for submittal of bids; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, On May 21, 2003 a total of five (5) bids have been received; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the low bidder was Westco Environmental Services, Inc. in <br />the estimated amount of $12,844.86 ($1.02 / foot); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 2003 adopted budget has $15,000.00 in funds allocated <br />for root removal in the City‘s sanitary sewer system (account 730-4823-5160). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby approve a contract award with Westco Environmental <br />Services, Inc. in the estimated amount of $12,844.86 for the Annual Sanitary <br />Sewer Root Abatement Project. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 27th day of May 2003. <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />(ATTEST) <br /> _______________________________ <br /> James Ericson <br />Interim City Clerk/Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
