Item No. 9D <br />Type of Business: PH & CB <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Desaree Crane, Administrative Assistant <br />Item Title/Subject: Public Hearing to Consider Resolution 6035, a <br />Resolution Approving An Intoxicating Liquor Business <br />License (Off-Sale) for Network Liquors on 10 <br />Date of Report: June 23, 2003 <br /> <br />Section 502.08 of the City Code requires that a public hearing be held prior to the <br />renewal of any intoxicating liquor license. The City of Mounds View issued an <br />intoxicating liquor license for Network Liquors on 10 on June 24, 2002, and their <br />renewal is before the Council for consideration. Network Liquor on 10’s Intoxicating <br />Liquor License will expire June 30, 2003. <br /> <br />Network Liquors on 10 has submitted their city liquor license application materials and <br />the applicable fee. The following investigations and inspections have been conducted <br />to determine whether there is cause for the City to deny any of the above referenced <br />intoxicating liquor license application: <br /> <br />Health Inspections (St. Paul-Ramsey County Department of Public Health) <br />The Department of Public Health conducts annual inspections of all restaurants and <br />liquor establishments. The Department of Public Health has issued a satisfactory report <br />for Network Liquor on 10. <br /> <br />Police Inquiry and Investigations (Mounds View Police Department) <br />The Mounds View Police Department has issued a satisfactory report for Network <br />Liquor on 10 Liquor <br /> <br />Utility Billing Inquiry (City of Mounds View) <br />The Finance Department has issued a satisfactory report for Network Liquor on 10. <br /> <br />Fire Inspection (City of Mounds View Fire Marshal) <br />The Fire Marshal has inspected the premises and recommends approval of the license <br />subject to minor code corrections being accomplished. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve Network Liquor on 10’s application for <br />Intoxicating Liquor License with the condition that the Fire Marshal issues a satisfactory <br />report on their Fire Inspection. <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Desaree M.
