<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6075 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE “MOUNDS VIEW FESTIVAL IN THE PARK” <br />AS THE LOCAL FESTIVAL TO RECEIVE CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU <br />GRANT MONIES FOR MARKETING AND PROMOTION OF THE EVENT <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View on June 11, 2001 entered into an <br />agreement with the Minneapolis Metro North Convention and Visitors Bureau to <br />promote events, meetings, and tourism in the City of Mounds View, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Minneapolis Metro North CVB offers a marketing <br />partnership program with each member community whereby $2,000 is provided as a <br />grant each year to assist with marketing and promotion of a local festival, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View needs to designate the local festival <br />that will receive the CVB grant monies for 2003. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View designates the Mounds View Festival in the Park as the local festival that <br />will receive funds for marketing and promotion during the 2003 calendar year; and <br />finally that the City Council denotes the Mounds View Festival in the Park as the <br />designated recipient in future years, until such time as the City Council decides <br />otherwise. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 28th day of July 2003. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal) <br /> <br /> <br />
