APPROVAL OF AGENDA 18 <br /> 19 <br /> A. Monday, August 11, 2003 City Council Agenda. 20 <br /> 21 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Marty. To Approve the Monday, August 11, 2003 Agenda as 22 <br />Presented. 23 <br /> 24 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 25 <br /> 26 <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT 27 <br /> 28 <br />William Werner of 2765 Sherwood Road addressed Council and indicated that he had a wash out 29 <br />next to the storm sewer drain by his driveway and he is disappointed with the way the work was 30 <br />done and the fact that it is not completed. He then commented that he had been told by Staff that 31 <br />not much effort was put into the repair because the area is scheduled for reconstruction at some 32 <br />point and that disappoints him and he cannot understand wanting to do anything other than a 33 <br />good job. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Mr. Werner indicated that he has questions about the philosophy of Council on these types of 36 <br />issues and then handed out an article indicating that it was named “a time to ponder the wisdom 37 <br />of living more efficiently.” 38 <br /> 39 <br />6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS 40 <br /> 41 <br /> A. Proclamation for Recognition of City Employees 42 <br /> 43 <br />Mayor Linke read a proclamation for Recognition of City Employees for doing extra work above 44 <br />and beyond their job requirements to pick up the slack during times when there were vacancies. 45
