<br />RESOLUTION NO. 6084 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE CONTRACT AWARD FOR CORRECTIVE WORK ON THE HVAC SYSTEM <br />AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there is a portion of the Community Center that the heating, ventilation, air- <br />conditioning (HVAC) system is not functioning as desired; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are several rooms in the current daycare portion of the building that <br />are affected: infant room, two toddler rooms, and a room for older children; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, UHL Company has done all the service on this system and is the supplier <br />for the computer controls, operating software, etc; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the estimated cost to perform the corrective work based on a quote from <br />UHL Company is $4,200; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Center Fund will be utilized to finance this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Charter, Section 7.08 gives the City Council authority to amend the <br />budget by resolution. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a contract with the UHL Company in the estimated amount of $4,200 for <br />corrective work on the HVAC System at the Community Center. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2003 Budget of the <br />Community Center Fund be amended to increase appropriations by $4,200.00 for the corrective <br />work on the HVAC System at the Community Center. <br /> <br />Adopted this 8th day of September 2003. <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL)
