<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6095 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING ________________ TO THE POSITION <br />OF MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING ASSOCIATE <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon direction from the Mounds View City Council, the Planning <br />Associate position was advertised; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, sixty applications were received for the position and eight applicants <br />were chosen for interview; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, two of candidates were asked back for second interviews and <br />__________________ skills and experience were determined to most closely match the <br />duties and responsibilities as outlined in the planning associate job description; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, _________________ has consented to a drivers license and criminal <br />background check which will be performed as a condition of employment; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 10, 2003, Mr. Ulrich accepted the position under the terms and <br />conditions of employment articulated in a letter dated June 30, 2003. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />appoints ____________________ to the position of Planning Associate with employment <br />to commence on September 29, 2003. <br /> <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes a starting salary of <br />$35,194 (Step 1) with step increases provided in accordance with City personnel policies <br />subject to satisfactory performance and City Council authorization. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 8th day of September, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
