<br />MOUNDS VIEW CABLE DEPARTMENT <br />CAMCORDER POLICIES <br /> <br />The following rules govern any camcorder owned by the City of Mounds View. Anyone <br />intending on using the camcorder must understand and comply with these rules. <br /> <br />1. STORAGE <br /> When the camcorder is not in use, it will be stored in a safe place within city hall <br /> that can be locked. Currently the camcorder is stored in the Cable Coordinator’s <br /> office. The camcorder must always be in a safe and locked place when <br /> unattended. <br /> <br />2. ACCESS <br /> Access to the camcorder is restricted to the following individuals: <br /> Cable Coordinator <br /> Senior Video Operator <br /> Junior Video Operator <br /> Members of Mounds View Cable Committee <br /> <br /> Authorization for other individuals to use the camcorder can only be given by the <br /> City Administrator and the Cable Coordinator. <br /> <br />3. CHECKOUT <br />• Request to use the camcorder must be provided in advance. This includes <br />the time and date to pickup the camcorder, and the time and date it will be <br />returned. The request must be given to the Cable Coordinator, either by <br />phone or email. <br />• The user must agree to the camcorder policies in order to be given <br />permission to use the camcorder. <br />• The user must have successfully been trained on the camcorder. <br />• The user should inventory all accessories being checked out, and is <br />responsible for returning all accessories when checking in. <br />• The camcorder cannot be taken out of the state of Minnesota without <br />express permission. <br /> <br />4. CARE AND USE <br /> The user must abide by the following rules when using the camcorder: <br />• Always store camcorder in its case when not in use. <br />• Never store camcorder in a vehicle for a long period of time. <br />• Always keep the camcorder secure. <br />• Do not allow camcorder to get wet. <br />• Do not attempt to repair the camcorder, or remove a jammed tape. Notify <br />the Cable Coordinator of any problems.
