RESOLUTION NO. 6101 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPOINTING JASON RUBY TO THE <br />POSITION OF POLICE PUBLIC SERVICE OFFICER <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, 11 applications were received for the position of Public Service <br />Officer. Five candidates were chosen to be interviewed by an interview panel consisting <br />of a Police Sergeant from the New Brighton Police Department, Deputy Chief Tim <br />Brennan of the Mounds Police Department, and Police Civil Service commissioner <br />member Mari Shay. The panel rated the candidates and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the police civil service commission rated and certified the top three <br />candidates. The top candidate is Jason Ruby and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has met with Mr. Ruby and recommends he be <br />appointed to the part-time position of Public Service Officer. <br /> <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby appoint Jason Ruby to the position of Public Service Officer at the step one <br />rate of pay for the position <br /> <br />Adopted this 22th day of September 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />______________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich <br />City Clerk/Administrator <br />(SEAL)
