Ordinance 720 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Land Uses Current Zoning Proposed Zoning <br />City Parks PF R-1, Single Family Residential <br />City Wells PF R-1, Single Family Residential <br />City Hall PF B-3, Highway Business Commercial <br />Community Center PF B-3, Highway Business Commercial <br />Golf Course PF I-1, Industrial <br />Public Works Garage PF I-1, Industrial <br />Water Tower, Reservoir PF I-1, Industrial <br />Old Water Tower Site PF I-1, Industrial <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends adoption of a <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment to update the Future Land Use (FLU) Map to be consistent with <br />the recommended rezoning actions as herein indicated; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with the recommendations of the Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council also desires to adopt a zoning text amendment to eliminate <br />Chapter 1118, the PF (Public Facilities District) zoning district designation, from the Mounds <br />View City Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has zoning ordinances and a zoning map with their <br />purpose being as outlined in Title 1100 of the Mounds View City Code governing zoning, which <br />may be amended pursuant to the authority and procedures outlined in Section 1125 of the Mounds <br />View City Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the procedures outlined in Section 1125 of the City Code pertaining to <br />amendments to the zoning ordinance have been fully satisfied, including a public hearing <br />conducted by the City Council on September 22, 2003 and a recommendation by the Mounds <br />View Planning Commission to rezone being submitted to the City Council. <br /> <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, <br /> <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: The recitals set forth above in this ordinance are incorporated into and made <br />a part of this ordinance as if fully set forth herein and constitute the findings of the City Council <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: Chapter 1118 of the Mounds View Zoning Code is hereby deleted in its <br />entirety.
