PUBLIC INPUT 27 <br /> 28 <br />William Werner of 2765 Sherwood Road addressed Council and asked whether anything was 29 <br />being done to reduce the budget for 2004. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Mayor Linke indicated the City is looking at reducing several items and those discussions are 32 <br />continuing. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Mr. Werner asked whether Staff has been given direction or target numbers to aim for. He then 35 <br />said that the City should be living within its means and the money it has rather than going out for 36 <br />more money on a special election. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Mayor Linke indicated that would be a choice the residents would need to make. He then said 39 <br />that Staff knows the figures they have to live within and have already cut to those points and now 40 <br />are looking to go down from there. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Mr. Werner indicated that it looks like to him that the City is spending the same money as it was 43 <br />before LGA was cut. 44 <br /> 45
