Mounds View City Council September 22, 2003 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />Fire Chief Zikmund indicated it is a test under pressure where the system is pressurized and 1 <br />flushed out to determine deficiencies in the system but does not use water. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Council Member Quick asked if the City inspects non-homestead R-1 property. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Kathy indicated that at this time it is not on the list of regular inspections but noted that two 6 <br />instances have been brought to her attention and they are investigating those properties. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Fire Chief Zikmund indicated there is some difficulty in that the Code does not give a lot of 9 <br />authority in that unless the property is over 13 units. He then said that is where the housing code 10 <br />has to play a larger role. 11 <br /> 12 <br />7. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 13 <br /> 14 <br /> A. Just and Correct Claims 15 <br /> 16 <br />Council Member Marty asked for more information on Check Number 111731 to certified labs 17 <br />for $165.00. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated it was for a case of bee repellent. 20 <br /> 21 <br />Council Member Marty asked for more information on Check Number 111767 and commented 22 <br />that it seems the City gets motor fuels and lubricants from more than one source. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Golf Course Manager Burg indicated the fuel from Kath comes delivered to the above ground 25 <br />storage of gas and diesel for the golf course. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Council Member Marty asked for more information on Check Number 111813 asking whether 28 <br />the fee for the class was for an employee of the City. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that is was for the new employee in the sewer division who 31 <br />has to get his water operator license. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Council Member Gunn asked for clarification of Check Number 111830. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated the City received a building permit application and received 36 <br />the permit fee but the permit was rescinded without any inspections done so the money was 37 <br />refunded. 38 <br /> 39 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. To Approve Just and Correct Claims as Presented. 40 <br /> 41 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 42 <br /> 43
