Public Hearing, First Reading and Introduction of Proposed Ordinance 721, 9 an Ordinance Amending Chapter 1116 Regarding Permitted Uses Within the 10 Industrial (I-1) Zoning District 11 12 Community Development Director Ericson indicated this ordinance is related to the previous 13 ordinance in that with the change of the PF zoned properties to other use districts all of the 14 proposed uses out there are allowed in the districts recommended with the exception of the golf 15 course. This Ordinance amends the Code to include golf courses as an allowed use within the I-1 16 zoning district. 17 18 Mayor Linke opened the public hearing at 8:46 p.m. 19 20 Mayor Linke closed the public hearing at 8:47 p.m. 21 22 MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. Resolution No. 6101 Appointing Jason Ruby to the Position of Public Service 29 Officer to the Police Department 30 31 MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6101, a 32 Resolution Appointing Jason Ruby to the Position of Public Service Officer to the Police 33 Department. 34 35 Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 36 37 Council Member Marty asked how the public service officer differs from community service 38 officer. 39 40 Chief Sommer indicated that the hours and salary were changed so the position is less than half 41 time and gets no benefits. 42 43
