Mounds View City Council June 24, 2002 Regular Meeting Page 21 Council Member Thomas asked if Council Member Marty had anything of specific note that he felt was not included but said she would challenge him to find specifics not provided that he would like to have included and bring them forward to Council for consideration. Council Member Marty said quite a bit is missing. He then said he would need some time to review the minutes provided as well as his notes before providing specific changes to Council. MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Thomas. To Table Approval of the Minutes of May 20, 2002. Council Member Stigney made a point of order that the tabling motion should be a postponing motion. Ayes – 1 (Sonterre) Nays – 4 Motion failed. MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Marty. To Postpone Approval of the May 20, 2002 City Council Minutes to the July 8, 2002 City Council Meeting. Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. B. June 10, 2002 City Council Meeting Minutes Council Member Thomas requested the following changes: On Page 10, one brother participated in the training and another brother graduated with dare graduation. On Page 15 indicate that Mayor Sonterre indicated that Ms. Quick was given the Community Asset Award and note that Council Member Thomas indicated her name was Jan Quick. Mayor Sonterre requested the following changes: On Page 10, eliminate the phrase: perceived that would not be doing what needs to be done and add “expect to see increases in other areas.” On Page 11, third paragraph change it to read: because of varied funding sources and duties for example he does not think that website maintenance fits under franchise fees. Add that after first sentence. On Page 14 correct the spelling of the business of the year. MOTION/SECOND: Thomas/Marty. To Approve the Minutes of June 10, 2002 as Amended.
