Consideration of Resolution No. 4483 Reappointing Commission <br /> Members <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, reviewed Resolution No. <br /> 4483 Reappointing Commission Members. Mayor Linke commented that <br /> Gary Stevenson was not up for reappointment on the Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission. <br /> Councilmember Trude stated that there was a vacancy on the <br /> Planning Commission because of the resignation of the former <br /> Chairperson. Also mentioned was the fact that the Environmental <br /> Quality Commission has two vacancies. <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, commented that there were <br /> two letters of application received for the Planning Commission <br /> vacancy. <br /> • Councilmember Trude commented that she verified with a person who <br /> had submitted a letter that the individual was still interested in <br /> the position. <br /> Mayor Linke stated that the letters of application will be forwarded <br /> to the various Commissions for interviews and selection. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Linke/Blanchard to Adopt Resolution No. 4483 <br /> Reappointing Commission Members As Amended <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> F. Consideration of Action on Ordinance No. 532 Adopting the New <br /> Municipal Code <br /> Tim Cruikshank, Assistant to the City Administrator, reported that <br /> the recodification of the Code is complete. Numerous changes had <br /> been made to the Code, grammatical and organizational in nature. <br /> Cruikshank reported that at the December 27, 1993 City Council <br /> Meeting, Ordinance No. 532, proposing to establish the recodified <br /> code as the City's official legal document, was introduced to the <br /> Council for consideration. Cruikshank further explained that as <br /> provided by City Charter, Section 3 . 11, a notice of recodification <br /> of the Municipal Code is to be published in the official newspaper <br /> for two successive weeks once the recodification is approved by the <br /> • City Council. The recodified code would then become effective 30 <br /> days from the date of the second publication. <br />
