Consideration of Ordinance no. 533 Placing a Moratorium on <br /> Establishment of Car Lots in the City of Mounds View <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, reported that at the <br /> December 27, 1993 Council Meeting, Ordinance No. 533 was introduced <br /> to the Council for consideration. Orduno reported that adoption of <br /> this ordinance would place a 12 month moratorium on the <br /> establishment of car lots within the City of Mounds View. This <br /> moratorium could be extended for an additional 18 months. Orduno <br /> stated that this ordinance would go into effect thirty days after <br /> its publication in the official newspaper and would have no impact <br /> • on the existing car lots in the City of Mounds View. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Wuori to Adopt Ordinance No. 533 Placing a <br /> Moratorium on Establishment of Car Lots in the City of Mounds View <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE: Mayor Linke - yes <br /> Councilmember Trude - yes <br /> Councilmember Wuori - yes <br /> Councilmember Quick - yes <br /> Councilmember Blanchard - yes <br /> Motion Carried <br /> H. Consideration of Bid Award for Council Chambers Audio Visual <br /> Equipment <br /> Don Brager, Finance Director, reported that the City had obtained <br /> written quotations from three firms for the Council Chambers audio <br /> visual equipment. EPA Audio Visual, Inc. supplied the low bid at <br /> $17, 134. 00. Staff is in the process of obtaining quotations for <br /> electrical work needed for the equipment installation and for the <br /> presenter's table. Staff recommends Council acceptance of the low <br /> bid of $17, 134. 00 from EPA Audio Visual, Inc. for the purchase of <br /> audio visual equipment for the Council Chambers. <br /> Councilmember Trude asked about the sound projection package for the <br /> 411 Council Chambers. <br />
