Regular Meeting January 24, 1994 <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, reported that Mary Saarion <br /> is an employee who represents the very best in quality, commitment, <br /> work ethic, positive attitude, energy and dedication to the Mounds <br /> View community. Orduno further stated that Mary is an employee who <br /> consistently goes the extra mile to serve others, to help others and <br /> to make Mounds View the very best that it can be. Mary, over the <br /> past three years, has been an outstanding member of the staff, <br /> exhibiting a consistently outstanding performance in the area of <br /> leadership, cooperation, innovation, interpersonal relations, <br /> customer service and countless others. Orduno stated that Saarion's. <br /> performance is an example of the very best that exists within the <br /> staff of the City of Mounds View. Orduno made a recommendation that <br /> Mary Saarion receive a 2% performance pay adjustment on the 1994 <br /> base, effective January 1, 1994 . <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Blanchard/Wuori to Adopt Resolution No. 4488 <br /> Approving 2% Performance Pay Adjustment for Parks, Recreation and <br /> Forestry Director, Mary Saarion <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, presented Resolution No. 4488 <br /> • to Mary Saarion. <br /> B. Consideration of Resolution No. 4486 Rejecting Emergency Plans for <br /> Town's Edge, Colonial Village and Mounds View Manufactured Home <br /> Parks <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, reported that this item had <br /> been discussed at the November Council Work Session and is a <br /> result of several meetings between the City, the County, <br /> representatives of the manufactured home parks, and Representative <br /> Geri Evans. Orduno further reported that action to reject the <br /> current emergency plans of the three manufactured home parks will <br /> serve as the iii--i-a-step—in—re valuat ng the emergency needs of <br /> the park residents. Orduno stated that upon adoption of Resolution <br /> No. 4486, Ramsey County will be notified of the Council's action and <br /> will then begin discussions with managers and owners of the three <br /> parks to determine alternative emergency plans which may include <br /> construction of additional shelters on site or designation of <br /> alternative shelter sites closer and more accessible to park <br /> residents. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Quick to Waive the Reading and Adopt <br /> Resolution No. 4486 Formally Rejecting the Emergency Plans for <br /> Town's Edge, Colonial Village and Mounds View Manufactured Home <br /> Parks <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />
