Consideration of Approval of Contract for Golf Course Engineering <br /> Services <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, stated that the construction of <br /> the golf course provides for various engineering services related to <br /> such activities of water and sewer service to the site as well as <br /> the necessary permitting processes with Rice Creek Watershed. The <br /> Supplemental Letter of Agreement provides for those services as an <br /> extension of the current Agreement the City has with SEH for general <br /> engineering services. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Trude to Waive the Reading and Adopt <br /> Resolution No. 4492 Authorizing the City Administrator to Execute <br /> the Supplemental Letter of Agreement with SEH for Engineering <br /> Services for the Golf Course in an Amount not to Exceed $11,700 to <br /> be Paid out of the Proceeds of the Revenue Bond Sale and Account No. <br /> 698-4120-303 . <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Discussion among the Council and staff evolved around the fact that <br /> Blaine is proposing to build two golf courses. <br /> • D. Consideration of Resolution No. 4487 Authorizing an Application for <br /> Conveyance of Certain Tax Forfeited Parcels <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, reported that Ramsey County's <br /> division of Property Records and Revenue has informed the City that <br /> two parcels in Mounds View have been declared as tax forfeit <br /> parcels. Orduno reported that the City Council at the January Work <br /> Session discussed the acquisition of the two parcels, through a use <br /> deed, as part of the City's on-going surface water management <br /> program. Orduno stated that the use deeds would allow the City to <br /> hold the parcels in the public trust, for public use, for an <br /> indefinite p&r- od--o- time. O-r-duna reported—that the cast of <br /> obtaining the use deeds would be approximately $150 to $200. <br /> Councilmember Quick mentioned that one of the parcels of land is <br /> between Woodlawn and Edgewood, north of Sherwood and the other <br /> parcel is on the west side of Silver Lake Road across from Silver <br /> • View Park between County Road I and Bronson (if Bronson were to go <br /> through) . <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Blanchard/Wuori to Waive the Reading and Adopt <br /> Resolution No. 4487 Authorizing An Application for Conveyance of <br /> Certain Tax Forfeited Parcels. <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />
