Consideration of Resolution Nos. 4515 and 4516 Authorizing the MWC" <br /> Waivers of Trespass <br /> Paul Harrington, City Planner, following negotiations with MWCC <br /> brought in two Waiver of Trespass agreements on behalf of the MWCC-.- <br /> to <br /> WCCto allow the MWCC to enter City property to do the preliminary war_- <br /> necessary for the construction of the Blaine Interceptor. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Wuori to Adopt Resolution Nos. 4515 and 451 <br /> Authorizing the MWCC Waivers of Trespass <br /> • <br /> VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> REPORTS : • <br /> 1 . Report of Councilmembers: <br /> a. Councilmember Trude reminded the public that March 1 was cauc <br /> night. The Republicans would be caucusing at Irondale High <br /> School and the Democrats at Edgewood. The caucuses would beg: <br /> at 7 : 00 p.m. This would be the first City-wide caucus. <br /> b. Councilmember Wuori - Announced that the City newsletter had__ <br /> wag delivered to the residents this week. Wuori complimented the staff on a-- <br /> :2 ellent newsletter that contained a lot of <br /> very good information. <br /> c. Councilmember Quick - No report <br /> d. Councilmember Blanchard was out ill. <br /> Report of Mayor Linke: <br /> a. Mayor Linke summarized the contents of the City newsletter and <br /> commented on the number of new and interesting articles. <br /> Mayor Linke commended the Editorial Board, which is the board <br /> • <br /> who puts the newsletter together, on- a fine job. The members of =— <br /> Editorial Board are: Paul Harrington, Mary Tatarek, Sharie Linke,_ <br /> Dave Brick and Tim Cruikshank. <br /> b. Mayor Linke announced that Barb Haake, a former councilmember, <br /> been appointed to the Rice Creek Watershed District Board. <br /> c , Mayor Linke also asked the public to send any questions they may <br /> have to City Hall and he would answer them on his cable program. <br /> Report of Administrator <br /> Samantha Orduno reported that the City would be interviewing ten <br /> candidates tomorrow for the Economic Development Coordinator position. <br /> Orduno stated that the City should have someone on -board in the next <br /> two to four weeks . <br />
