Consideration of Award of Bid for Construction of Golf Course <br /> Clubhouse and Maintenance Building <br /> Mary Saarion, Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry stated that <br /> bids were opened for the golf course clubhouse building and golf <br /> course maintenance building on Wednesday, April 6. Saarion reported <br /> that 12 companies bid on the clubhouse with Ebert Construction being <br /> the low bid on both buildings at a cost of $244 ,400. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Quick to Award the Bid for the Construction of <br /> the Golf Course Clubhouse and the Maintenance Building to Ebert <br /> Construction, Inc. at a Bid Price of $84, 500 for the Maintenance <br /> Building and $159, 900 for the Clubhouse Building <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> F. Consideration of Approval of Clean-Up Day Contracts <br /> Paul Harrington, City Planner, reported that Twin City Refuse, <br /> working in conjunction with Keith Krupenny & Sons Disposal had <br /> submitted a fee schedule in which the residents participating in the <br /> event would pay the entire costs of operating the clean-up day. The <br /> clean-up day was announced as May 7, 1994 from 9 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 00 <br /> • p.m. at the public works garage off Bronson. The fees were reviewed <br /> for the audience and several councilmembers commented on how <br /> important this event was to many Focus 2000 participants. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Trude to approve a contract with Twin City <br /> Refuse and Keith Krupenny Disposal to provide services for the May <br /> 7 , 1994 Spring Clean-Up Day for the City of Mounds View according to <br /> the fee schedule presented to the City Council. <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> G. Consideration of Adoption of Resolution Nos. 4543 , 4544 and 4545 for <br /> MSA Road Designations <br /> Mike Ulrich, Public Works Supervisor, reported that Pleasantview <br /> Drive from County Road H2 to County Road I, County Road I from <br /> Pleasantview Drive to Silver Lake Road and Bronson Drive from <br /> Edgewood Drive to Quincy Street were the sections of road to be <br /> added to the City's State Aid Mileage. Ulrich reported that the <br /> addition of these segments of pavement will fulfill Mounds View's <br /> State Aid Mileage. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Wuori to Adopt Resolution Nos. 4543 , 4544, and <br /> 4545 for MSA Road Designations <br /> A discussion took place among the Councilmembers regarding the <br /> condition of the road segments that will be turned back to the City. <br />
