Report of Councilmembers: <br /> a. Councilmember Quick: No report <br /> b. Councilmember Blanchard: Reported that she attended a play at <br /> Edgewood called "Nitwits, Nuts to You" and stated that it was a <br /> very good play and strongly recommend that Mounds View <br /> Community Theater contact the school for more information on <br /> the play and children that performed. <br /> c. Councilmember Wuori: Reported that she was at Bridgemans when <br /> the children who performed in the play came in to celebrate the <br /> performance. Mounds View Community Theater will be sending out <br /> • information to the schools as many actors and other workers <br /> will be needed to take part in the upcoming play, "Oliver" <br /> being put on by the Community Theater. <br /> d. Councilmember Trude: Reported that she was glad to see <br /> the Math Team congratulated as these are good kids doing <br /> good things. <br /> Report of Mayor Linke: <br /> a. Mayor Linke reported that the City Hall Open House previously <br /> scheduled for May 9 will now be held June 6 from 5: 00 p.m. to 7 : 00 <br /> p.m. <br /> b. Mayor Linke reminded the citizens that the Spring Clean Up Day <br /> is Saturday, May 7th. This Clean Up Day is not subsidized by <br /> the City, but will be conducted by Twin City Refuse. <br /> c. Mayor Linke explained that on April 30 from Noon to 3 : 00 p.m. <br /> some of the Lions would be at two intersections asking for donations <br /> for White Can Day. Those persons who participate will be given a <br /> small white cane. <br /> d. Mayor Linke reported that the City of Mounds View received a <br /> plaque from Irondale High School indicating that the school <br /> was voted a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. <br /> • <br />
