Report of Councilmembers: <br /> Councilmember Quick - No report <br /> Councilmember Blanchard: Attended Senior Picnic through <br /> Park and Recreation Department on Wednesday. There were <br /> over 100 seniors in attendance. Blanchard said that <br /> she as well as everyone else had a good time, but the <br /> best time was had watching Councilmember Wuori do dishes. <br /> Councilmember Wuori - No report. <br /> • Councilmember Trude: Not in attendance - ill. <br /> Report of Mayor Linke: <br /> a. Mayor Linke reported that he was appointed by the President of the <br /> AMM to a seven member executive board and asked to Chair the <br /> Metropolitan Affairs Committee. This committee suggests legislation <br /> that has to do with the metro area. <br /> Orduno commented that this committee is the primary overseer of the <br /> Metropolitan Council . <br /> b. Mayor Linke gave a brief explanation of the new audio/visual cable <br /> equipment in the Council Chambers. <br /> c. Mayor Linke reminded the public of the Festival In The Park <br /> scheduled for July 17 . The Henry Sibley Band and the St. Cloud <br /> Band will be marching in the parade as well as the Irondale Band. <br /> Mayor Linke encouraged residents to come out and see the parade. <br /> Report of Administrator: <br /> a . Samantha stated that she had met with representatives from Ramsey <br /> County who presented a document describing a plan for a Strategic <br /> Planning Process and a Vision for the Future. This strategic <br /> planning process is required by the Ramsey County Charter. <br /> Applications are being forwarded to the City. There will be <br />
