Orduno
reported that after lengthy discussions a determination was made by
the group that provides for approximately 3 , 100 square feet of
wetlands to be replaced on the site of the proposed senior housing
project and another approximate 10, 000 square feet of existing
wetlands west of the proposed site be enhanced from Type 6 to Type 3
or 4 wetland. Orduno noted that this means that the wetland area
will be enhanced to include more surface water and related
vegetation and would prevent it from becoming a dump site.
MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Blanchard to Adopt Resolution No. 4591
Requesting Rice Creek Watershed District Approve the Wetland
Delineation for the Silver Lake Pointe Senior Housing Apartments
VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried
J.
