Mounds View City Council Page Twenty-Two <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> fa July 25, 1994 <br /> REPORTS <br /> 1. Report of Councilmembers: <br /> Councilmember Quick - absent <br /> Councilmember Blanchard <br /> - Groundbreaking took place last week for Multi-Tech <br /> and that the Council is very, very happy to have them <br /> expanding in Mounds View and wishes Multi-Tech a great <br /> deal of success. <br /> Councilmember Wuori: <br /> - Last weekend was opening weekend for Mounds View Community <br /> Theater's play, "Oliver" . Tickets are available for the next <br /> two weekends. Opening weekend went very well. <br /> Councilmember Trude stated that she enjoyed participating in <br /> the parade and in Festival In The Park. <br /> Report of Administrator: <br /> Samantha Orduno reported that she will be out of the office <br /> IIIWednesday, Thursday and Friday attending the LMC Strategic Planning <br /> Session in Bemidji. <br /> Report of Mayor Linke: <br /> a. The Festival In the Park was held July 17 . The Fire Department won <br /> the trophy in the baseball game defeating the Mounds View Police <br /> Department. <br /> b. Mayor Linke thanked all of the persons involved with planning the <br /> parade. Linke stated that 52 units participated in the parade. <br /> c-. - Linke-statedthatthe -Festival_ went_ very well for all vendors. -The <br /> only negative statement that the Mayor received was that there <br /> were no fireworks. <br /> d. Mayor Linke apologized for his vote on the Woodale playground <br /> situation and for his attitude during the meeting. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business before this Council, Mayor Linke <br /> adjourned the meeting at 10: 30 p.m. <br /> Re - ,lectfu ly -ub•/ tted, <br /> ichele eve o <br /> • Recording S - etary <br />
