Mounds View City Council Page Two <br /> 4111 Regular Meeting October 10, 1994 <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Linke/Quick to Adopt Resolution 4642 Commending <br /> Steve West for His Years of Service to the Spring Lake <br /> Park/Blaine/Mounds View Fire Department <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Mayor Linke, on behalf of the City Council, presented Resolution No. <br /> 4632 to Steve West and thanked him for his years of service to the <br /> three communities as a firefighter. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Samantha Orduno read the Consent Agenda. <br /> Mayor Linke asked if there were any items the Council desired removed <br /> from the Consent Agenda. There were no items removed. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Blanchard to Adopt the Consent Agenda as Presented <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> 1111 John Wilczek, engineer from Comstock and Davis, representing Citywide <br /> Developers, regarding Sherwood Estates, presented a letter to the Council <br /> that he had written to Paul Harrington, Community Development <br /> Coordinator, addressing Council concerns from the October 3 Work Session. <br /> Letter is attached and made a permanent part of the minutes of this <br /> meeting. Mr. Wilczek stated that he had hoped that last week he could <br /> have met with Paul Harrington, but they were unable to arrange a meeting. <br /> Wilczek reviewed the concerns of the City Council and included the plan <br /> of action, explanation and/or clarification for the Sherwood Estates <br /> Development for each of the five concerns. Wilczek stated that he <br /> thought-these-were-minor concerns-that-could-be-worked out between City <br /> staff, City Planner and the City's engineer. <br /> Wilczek explained that the preliminary plat is being presented for <br /> Council approval at tonight's meeting. Wilczek stated that contingencies <br /> could be added to the preliminary plat. <br /> Paul Harrington, Community Development Coordinator, indicated that he had <br /> received runoff calculations from Mr. Wilczek and passed those <br /> calculations on the Rocky Keene, the City's consulting engineer, this <br /> afternoon. Harrington stated that Mr. Keene had expressed concern with <br /> the methodology of the calculations used. Mr. Keene indicated that the <br /> methodology used needs to follow our Storm Water Management Plan. <br /> Harrington stated that he did not ask Mr. Keene if he had other concerns. <br /> 0 <br />
