� am. <br /> A A 4 �a! c�� <br /> PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> • CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Truth In Taxation <br /> Presentation of 1995 Budget/1995 Proposed Property Tax Levy <br /> November 30, 1994, <br /> Mounds View City Hall <br /> 2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor Linke at 7: 00 <br /> p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 1994 . <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Linke, Councilmembers Wuori, Blanchard, <br /> Trude and Quick <br /> IIIMEMBERS ABSENT: None <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Samantha Orduno, City Administrator; Don Brager, Finance <br /> Director; Tim Cruikshank, Assistant to the City Administrator; Mary <br /> Saarion, Parks, Recreation and Forestry Director <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, welcomed the public to the Truth In <br /> Taxation Hearing and briefly explained the handouts from the League of <br /> Minnesota Cities regarding property taxes. Orduno explained the purpose <br /> of this evening's hearing and reviewed the City's budget goals and <br /> process. <br /> Don Brager, Finance Director, reviewed the City's budget, proposed- - <br /> property tax levy and the proposed property tax levy's impact on the <br /> average home in the City of Mounds View. <br /> Mayor Linke explained how property taxes are calculated for residential <br /> properties and presented the City's overall tax capacity values for the <br /> past four years. <br /> Sherry, a representative of the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department <br /> explained to the Mayor, Council and residents why the cost of dispatching <br /> services was raised significantly for 1995. Sherry read a memo addressed <br /> to the affected cities from Gary Coleman. <br /> III <br />
