Mounds View City Council Page 5 <br /> • Regular Meeting December 19, 1994 <br /> policy by Resolution, City Attorney Jim Thomson advised that <br /> the provisions of the City Code which pertain to collection in <br /> Chapter 906 should be changed by introducing an Ordinance. <br /> Thomson prepared Ordinance No. 551 for the Council's review. <br /> He also suggested revisions to Resolution No. 4692 to <br /> reference the Ordinance. <br /> Brager advised that the Council could introduce Ordinance No. <br /> 551, but since the Ordinance would not be adopted at this <br /> meeting, the Resolution should be tabled. <br /> Mayor Linke explained that Ordinance No. 551 sets out the <br /> collection procedures for delinquent utility bills. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Wuori to Table Resolution No. 4692 , <br /> Resolution Outlining Collection Policy for Delinquent Utility <br /> Bills, Until the January 9, 1995 Council Meeting <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> C. Consideration of Resolution No. 4696 Approving Amateur Boxing <br /> Event, Upper Midwest Golden Gloves, Bel-Rae Ballroom, <br /> • January 17, 1995 <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, explained that this is a <br /> standard Resolution. The Midwest Golden Gloves has conducted <br /> prior amateur boxing events at the Bel-Rae Ballroom without <br /> incident. All of their application information is complete <br /> and all reference checks have been completed with satisfactory <br /> results. Per their regulations, a City Council Resolution is <br /> required to submit with their final documents to the Boxing <br /> Commission. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Blanchard to Adopt Resolution No. 4696 <br /> Approving Amateur Boxing Even-t-, Upper_Midwest Golden G1_Qves, <br /> Bel-Rae Ballroom, January 17, 1995 <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> D. Consideration of Purchase of New Diesel Pump <br /> Mike Ulrich, Director of Public Works, explained that the <br /> current diesel pump was purchased as a used pump approximately <br /> five years ago. It has received periodic service and numerous <br /> repairs during the past few years. Ulrich cited several <br /> malfunctions of the pump which presently exist, causing <br /> potential safety hazards for operators, equipment and the <br /> environment. <br /> • <br />
