Mounds View Planning Commission September 5, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br />COMMERCIAL <br /> <br />Goal 1 <br /> <br />Consensus reached to refer to it as County Highway 10. <br /> <br />Commissioner Gunn questioned the need for keeping Policy D since the City has already done <br />this. <br /> <br />Director Ericson replied there is a detailed County Road 10 design plan. <br /> <br />Consensus reached to remove Policy D. <br /> <br />Goal 2: <br /> <br />Director Ericson recommended adding a reference to existing codes in this section. <br /> <br />Goal 3: <br /> <br />Chair Stevenson pointed out that Policy B is very restrictive. <br /> <br />Director Ericson stated that Policy B puts the ownership back onto the City. <br /> <br />Goal 4: <br /> <br />No changes. <br /> <br />INDUSTRIAL <br /> <br />Goal 1: <br /> <br />Commissioner Lang requested adding a statement to identify appropriate areas for industrial <br />redevelopment. <br /> <br />Goal 2: <br /> <br />Commissioner Cramblit recommended adding a statement encouraging green buildings. <br /> <br />Consensus reached to word this as “ecological building design standards” rather than “green <br />buildings.” <br /> <br />Consensus reached to remove Policy D. <br /> <br /> <br />
