Mounds View Planning Commission April 17, 2002 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br />________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioner Miller asked how soon construction would begin. <br /> <br />Mr. Bjerkesett indicated construction would start in either August or September. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hegland/Zwirn. To Approve Resolution 690-02, a Resolution <br />Recommending Approval of a Variance from the Minimum Parking Requirement for a Proposed <br />Housing Facility Located at the Southeast Corner of Mounds View Drive and County Road I. <br /> <br />Ayes – 7 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />6. Planning Case DE02-003 <br /> <br />Planner Atkinson explained this is a development review to construct a Six-Unit Townhouse <br />Development located on Silver Lake Road, south of Silver View Apartments. He further <br />explained that eventually the complex would contain two six-plexes, which would require a <br />minor subdivision and rezoning. <br /> <br />Planner Atkinson briefly reviewed the Code requirements for the proposed development and <br />noted all requirements are met with this proposal. <br /> <br />Chair Stevenson asked whether there would be park dedication fees with the subdivision. <br /> <br />Planner Atkinson indicated that there would be and said the minor subdivision and rezoning <br />would be discussed at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zwirn asked if there were any plans with the development of Silver Lake Road <br />for drainage that may impact this property in the future. <br /> <br />Planner Atkinson said not at this time. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Johnson/Miller. To Approve Resolution 695-02, a Resolution <br />Recommending Approval of a Development Review to Construct a Six-Unit Townhouse <br />Development Located on Silver Lake Road, South of the Silver View Apartments. <br /> <br />Ayes – 7 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br />____________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />7.
