Planning Case No. DE00-002

Community Development Director Ericson explained that the building official had determined
that the building needed to be modified in order to meet state accessibility requirements. He
noted that the matter was discussed at length at the previous meeting and it was determined that
the building needed to be a full two stories to meet the accessibility requirements.

Director Ericson noted that there were to be no windows on the upper story south elevation and
no bay or projecting windows on the east side elevation to minimize the peripheral site lines for
the adjoining property owner. He then noted this matter would be before the City Council for
approval on June 25, 2001.

MOTION/SECOND: Hegland/Stevenson.
