~ PROCEEDIMGS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />- CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A regular meeting of Che Mounds W ew Planning Commission was called to order by <br />Chairperson Heake at 7s30 PM on August 23, 1978 at th~ Mounds View City Ha11> <br />2401 Nighway 10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55712, <br />Members Present: <br />Chaiwperson Haake <br />Commission Member Blanchard <br />Comnissian Member Burmeister <br />Comnisston Member Fedor <br />Cortmi ssi on Merober G ~ aze~^ <br />Comnission 4lember quan <br />A1so Present: <br />Gouncitmember Baumgartner <br />9uiiding and Zoning Official Rose <br />Members Absent: <br />Camnission Member Foss <br />Chairperson liaake stated that the minutes of the August 9, 1978 meeting were <br />approved as read. <br />MSP (Fedor-Quan) tc move the 7-)7 Faod Store discussion to the end of the agenda <br />~ and move all other items up. 6 ayes <br />MdNOR SUBDIVISION REQUEST OF CYRIL ZIFGLMEIEII - 8205 LONG LAKE ROAD <br />Official Rose reported that the app1lcant has requested to divide a tot 297.5' <br />long by 120' wide into two lots, the westeriy iot 187.0' tong by 120' wide and <br />the easterly lot 110.6' by 120' wide. <br />Planr~ing cans'.:ieratians include that bnth present zoning and the Comorehensive <br />Land Use deh~te the area as siryle famlly development. Both the proposed corner <br />1ot and interior 1ot meet minimum frantage and area requirements. Official Rose <br />added that presentiy Lapurt Drive is platted but is without fu11 Improvements. <br />Official Rose stated tliat Parcel A ha5 sewer and water improvements availabie <br />in Long Lake Road, white Parcel B has only sewer improvements in an unimpPOVed <br />street without water. Applicant should either petition for improvements or <br />agree to install them to City coAe requirements. <br />~~fficial Rose recomnended that the request 6e tabled until a petition for street <br />and water improvements is submitted and approved, or if Lhe applicant is unwiiling <br />to submit a pet9tion, the request be denied unless thQ appllcant intends to <br />make the improvements himself. <br />Mr. 2iegimeler stated ~hat es far as street and water services were concerned, he <br />did need them far~ the next lot but he wou7d tike to se71 that lok first so he <br />could get help financially in putting in the services, <br />~ Chairperson Haake pointed out that the policy has been to not create back outluts. <br />Officia7 Rose added 2hat code requires that all tot splits have proposed raad <br />s <br />~ <br />i <br />1 <br />t~ <br />Y <br />t <br />
