She also poi.nted out that a petiCion <br />had been submitted to the Covncil in 1979 by the property <br />ownere, aeking that a~oint eaeement oE 30' be eaken from <br />both the davelopere and property ownera to allow a road to <br />be put 3n. <br />Official Roae replied that becauae of the considerable <br />dePth uF the lots, iC would be poesible to run a cul-de-eac <br />in, wlxich would allow development of the loCS. He also <br />pointed out Chat Spr±ng Lake Park would have ta be w111ing <br />to participate in order to put a rond in to go out to <br />kiighway 10. <br />There wae considerable diacuasion with the property ownera <br />predent about the easement that they had raqueaCed in 1979, <br />with the opinion of Che Planning Com~ias3on and 3taff that <br />it had been for the original propoaal only, which aae ne•ver <br />approved, and thue the easeanent wna never approved or taken. <br />Concern :vas also expressed that a cul-de-sac would juet <br />provide another road for the reaidents of the r.,ondiminiums,' <br />Mz~. Herz ezcplained that the condominium ownera would not <br />,~ be using that road ae their garegea would be on the otEier <br />;aide of the buildings, and the secur.ity doore would not <br />~--'allow them to enter from the cuL-de-sac side. Msyar McCurty <br />eugges*_~ed that the pxoperty ownere again petition the City <br />for an easement on the new propoaed development, <br />Mr. Dinndorf asked what type of buffering w°itId be provided. <br />Mr. Herr replied that he would be using tre~s, and cauld <br />put fencea up between Che guragea, tu buffer that eide also. <br />Wally Schuldt, 7887 Spring Lake Park Road, asked what would <br />happen to the run-ofE, Official Rose replied that there <br />would be a controlled outlet. <br />Mra. Schuldt• aeked if an easement would be provided along <br />Hip~hway 10. Mr. Herr replied that he had adequate room <br />to provide that easement. <br />Commisaioner Andereon asked if the problem that the Fire <br />Department had noted ha3 been cleared up yet•, oE a~equate <br />aacese for emergency vehicles.
