To Approve Mounds View Planning Commission <br />Resolution 619-00, a Resolution Recommending Approval of a Conditional Use Permit to Allow <br />for a Fenced, Outdoor Storage Enclosure at 4749 Old Highway 8; Mounds View Planning Case <br />No. CU00-006, as Amended to Add a Clause after the Fourth WHEREAS Clause to Indicate <br />“WHEREAS, The Mounds View Planning Commission finds that the proposed 1,920 square feet <br />of outdoor storage satisfies the dimensional requirements,” and to Include a Clause on the <br />Second Page of the Resolution to Indicate “NOW Therefore, be it further resolved that the <br />Mounds View Planning Commission directs staff to forward notification of this resolution of <br />approval to the Mounds View Chief of Police for his information.” <br /> <br /> Ayes – 6 Nays – 0 The motion carried. <br /> <br />Planning Associate Ericson stated this item has been scheduled for a public hearing before the <br />City Council on May 22, 2000. <br /> <br /> <br />9. Planning Case No. CU00-007 <br /> <br />Property Involved: 2251 Oakwood Drive <br />Public Hearing, Discussion and Consideration of Resolution 620-00, a Resolution <br />Recommending Approval of a Conditional Use Permit for a 1,150 Square-foot Oversized <br />Garage. <br />Applicant: Kenneth Waste <br /> <br />The applicant was present: <br /> <br /> <br />Planning Associate Ericson gave the staff report as follows: <br /> <br />The applicant, Kenneth Waste is before the Commission to request conditional use permit to <br />construct a 1,150 square-foot garage on his property located at 2251 Oakwood Drive. The <br />proposed garage would replace the existing single-stall garage that is in need of replacement. <br />Planning Associate Ericson provided the Commission with a photograph of the subject property, <br />and the applicant’s truck, which was parked in the driveway. He stated he was uncertain there <br />was sufficient room in the existing garage to park the vehicle, and therefore, the need for a larger <br />garage was very apparent. <br />
