<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Resolution 510-97 <br />Jlme 4, 1997 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the variance requested is the minimum variance which would alleviate the <br />hardship in that the distance to the north property line from the center of the building is 34 feet <br />resulting in a 16-foot deficiency in the 50-foot minimum lot width requirement; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the variance would not be materially detrimental to the purpose of this Title <br />or to other property in the same zone ill that subdividing the lot would better enable owner- <br />occupancy of the dwellings and promote a sense of pride, improve appearances and strengthen the <br />neighborhood; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed variance will not impair an adequate supply of light and air to <br />adjacent property or substantially increase the congestion of the public streets or increase the <br />danger offire or endanger the public safety or substantially diminish or impair property values <br />within the neighborhood in that granting of this variance will not result in any change to the <br />existing structure or present traffic conditions, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View Planning Commission <br />acting as the Board of Adjustment and Appeals approves the variance request of Glenn Karlen to <br />allow a reduction in the minimum lot width requirement for proposed Parcel B (7730 Silver Lake <br />Road) from 50 feet to 34 feet to accommodate a zero lot line subdivision of the property located <br />at 7720 - 7730 Silver Lake Road, <br /> <br />Adopted this 4th day of June, 1997 <br /> <br />Jerry~n:~ <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />f i ) <br />j h./1'VlA.Jk J}kcwl'--- <br />I <br />Pamela Sheldon, <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />N :\DATA \GROUPS\COMDE V\DE VCASES\4XS-97\KARLI ~N.
