<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 516-97 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A MINOR SUBDIVISION FOR <br />GLENN AND URSULA KARLEN, PROPERTY OWNERS OF 7720 AND 7730 <br />SILVER LAKE ROAD; MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE 490-97 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Glenn and Ursula Karlen have requested approval ofa zero-lot line minor <br />subdivision of 7720/ 7730 Silver Lake Road, property zoned R-2, Single and Two-Family <br />Residential District; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the legal description of7720 / 7730 Silver Lake Road is currently (prior to the <br />proposed subdivision) as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Karlen's Addition <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 4, 1997, the Planning Commission approved Resolution 510-97, <br />approving a variance in minimum lot width from 50 feet to 34 feet for 7730 Silver Lake Road; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the following documents associated <br />with this request: <br /> <br />1. Certificate of Survey, dated 6/13/97 <br />2, Planning Application, dated 6/13/97 <br />3. Letter from the Applicant <br />4. Receipt of Previous Park Dedication Payment, dated 8/16/78 <br />5. Certificate of Title <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the applicants' request for a minor subdivision and <br />determined that it is in conformance with Chapters 1201, 1202, 1104 and 1204 of the municipal <br />Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the applicants has submitted a certificate of survey for the property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission <br />recommends approval of the minor subdivision request from Glenn and Ursula Karlen, with the <br />following stipulations: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The applicants shall execute a drainage and utility easement document prior to the <br />City Council's action on this item. <br />
