<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 571-99 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COIJNTY OF RAMSEY <br />ST ATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />TO ALLOW FOR AN OVERSIZE]) GARAGE AT 8100 LONG LAKE ROA]); <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE NO. 546-99 <br /> <br />Whereas, Richard Maid has applied for a conditional use permit to expand an existing <br />400 square-foot garage by an additional 580 squarc fect on propcrty located at 8100 Long Lake <br />Road, zoned R-l, Single Family Residential, legally describcd as followed: <br /> <br />The East 133 Feet of the South 162 Feet of the NE Quarter of <br />Section 6, Township 30, Range 23 <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is currently a 400 square-foot garage and an 80 square-foot shed on <br />this lot; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Mounds View Zoning Code allows, with a conditional use permit, up <br />to 1,400 square feet of garage/accessory building on one lot; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the following documents regarding <br />this proposal: <br /> <br />a. Planning Application <br />b. Zoning Map <br />c. Site Plan <br />d. Area Map with Building Footprints <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the dimensional requirements as stated <br />in Chapter 1104 the Zoning Code for this proposal havc been met; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes the following findings that possible <br />adverse effects have been considered in its recommendation, as required by Section 1125.01 <br />Subd. I.e.: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Relationship with thc Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />177e Comprehensive Plan encourages the development and maintenance qf'residential areas so as <br />to improve the quali(v. appearance and attractiveness (?f' housing units and residential property in <br />general. The Comprehensive Plan designates this property. 8100 Long Lake Road. as low-density <br />residential. This proposal does not C01?flict with the Comprehensive Plan. <br />
