<br />• <br />• <br />Mounds View City Council February 13, 1989 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />Mayor Hankner explained the purpose of the informa- <br />tional meeting to be held on February 27, stating <br />the residents are welcome to come in and 'address <br />their concerns to the Council. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Wuori to set an informa- <br />tional meeting on 1989-90 goal setting for 8:00 <br />PM on February 27, 1989. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Hankner noted that the entire process on long <br />term financial planning and budgeting had been <br />moved up in time. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Quick to adopt Resolution <br />No. 2445, adopting the 1989 long term financial <br />plan and budget calendars, and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />City Planner Herman pointed out no date had been <br />included for the public hearing under Item D, and <br />it should be March 13. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Wuori to amend the consent <br />agenda,. to include the date March 13 under Item D. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Hankner closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the first public hearing at 7:10 PM. <br />City Planner Herman explained the proposed ordinance <br />attempts to clean up problems with inconsistencies <br />in the zoning code with accessory uses, and tries <br />to consolidate the uses within the code. <br />There were no comments or questions, so Mayor <br />Hankner closed the public hearing and reopened the <br />regular meeting at 7:12 PM. <br />Mayor Hankner closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the second public hearing at 7:12 PM. <br />City Planner Herman explained the intent of the pro- <br />posed ordinance is to allow motorcycle sales and <br />accessory stores in a B-2 zone. She added there <br />would be conditional uses attached and reviewed what <br />they were. She explained the request had come before <br />the City as a result of Kraus Anderson having a <br />potential tenant for the Silver View Plaza. The <br />Planning Commission has reviewed the ordinance and <br />recommended the conditions noted be included. <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Carried <br />$.
