<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 657-01 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF A <br />REZONING OF 2625 COUNTY HIGHWAY 10, FROM R-3, MEDIDM DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL, TO B-2, LIMITED BUSINESS; PLANNING CASE NO. ZC01-002 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dr. Kevin Barcus and Dr. Bruce Schnabel (the "Applicants") representing <br />the Mounds View Animal Hospital, have applied to rezone City-owned property located at 2625 <br />County Highway 10 (the "Property") from R-3, Medium Density Residential, to B-2, Limited <br />Business; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Applicants have secured permission from the Property owner-the City <br />of Mounds View-to submit a rezoning application on the Property, which is legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Lot 78, Spring Lake Park Hillview, Subject to Highway <br />COllnty of Ramsey, State qlMinnesota <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the following documents regarding <br />this proposal: <br /> <br />1. Planning Application <br />2. Zoning Map <br />3. Location Map <br />4. Old Comprehensive Plan Map (1979) <br />5. Future Land Use Map (Proposed, 2001) <br />6, Staff Report <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding this request on <br />Wednesday, June 6, 2001; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, according to Section 1125,0 of the Mounds View Zoning Code, the <br />Planning Commission is to consider the possible adverse effects of the proposed rezoning and <br />shall make a finding of fact related to its review of the request; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, according to Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.356, the Planning <br />Commission is to review any proposed sale ofland for compliance with the Comprehensive Plan, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Mounds View Planning Commission <br />makes the following findings regarding the possible adverse effects of this rezoning as required by <br />the Mounds View Zoning Code and whether the proposed sale complies with the Comprehensive <br />Plan, as required by Minnesota Statutes: <br /> <br />I , According to the Comprehensive Plan, the Property proposed to be rezoned is designated High <br />DensIty Residential.
