Mounds View City Council June 26, 1989 <br />Regular Meeting Page Six <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Hankner to approve the first <br />• reading of Ordinance No. 468, amending the Munici- <br />pal Code of Mounds View by amending Chapter 104 <br />entitled "Garbage and Rubbish", and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained this ordinance <br />applies to the Bel Rae Ballroom only, and permits <br />the holder of an on-sale liquor license to sell <br />non-intoxicating malt liquor who also sells on-sale <br />wine,to sell intoxicating malt liquor at on-sale <br />without an additional license, as long as gross <br />receipts are at least sixty percent attributable to <br />the sale of food. Second Reading <br />and Adoption <br />of Ordinance <br />No. 467 <br />Motion Carried <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained the Council 13. Consideration <br />had held a public hearing on this matter two weeks of Resolution <br />ago, and the resolution prepared is consistent with No. 2500 <br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission. The <br />City Attorney has reviewed and approved the proposed <br />resolution. <br />City Attorney Karney stated he feels the statute is <br />clear that owners and residents cannot use the <br />wetland in any. way not provided by the ordinance. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to approve Resolu- <br />tion No. 2500, approving a wetland alteration <br />permit and site plan to construct a four Alex in the <br />buffer zone of a wetland, at 7656/7660 Woodlawn <br />Drive, and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes. 1 nay Motion Carried <br />. Mayor Hankner voted against the motion, stating that <br />it was still bothersome to her. <br />
