Mounds View. MN 55112 <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Hankner at 7:00 PM on Monday, July 24, 1989. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Paone, Quick, <br />Blanchard. Wuori and Mayor Hankner. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Karney, Clerk/Admini- <br />strator Pauley, Public Works Director Minetor and <br />City Planner Hren. <br />Motion/Second: Paone/Wuori to approve the July 10. <br />1989 minutes as corrected. <br />1. Call to <br />Order <br />2. Pledge of <br />Allegiance <br />3. Roll Call <br />4. Approval of <br />Minutes: <br />July 10, 1989 <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Mayor Hankner explained that due to the number of 5. Residents <br />inquiries concerning the status of the Silver View Park Requests and <br />picnic shelter, she would be adding that as a new #19 Comments from <br />to the agenda for the evening. the Floor <br />James Perron. 2288 Highway 10, stated he had lived in <br />the area and he reviewed the history of the area. in <br />particular a large storm sewer which he stated runs <br />under City Hall, which is large enough to drive a car <br />through. He stated trees have been lost where storm <br />sewer has been placed, and he feels someone is trying <br />to pull the rug out from under him. He stated he is <br />against Everest and what they are proposing to do. <br />Mayor Hankner explained the Everest proposal would be <br />discussed later on the agenda. <br />Mayor Hankner closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the first public hearing at 7:08 PM. <br />6.
