Sounds View City Council July 24, 1989 <br />Regular Meeting Page Sixteen <br />Mayor Hankner reported she had received a letter Mayor Hankner <br />today from the Regional Rail Authority, concerning <br />light rail transit, and a draft plan will be coming <br />out soon, and will be available at City Hall for <br />review. 'The comment period will run through <br />October 12. <br />Mayor Hankner noted compliments had been received <br />concerning the newsletter. on the citizen comment <br />and input form. <br />Mayor Hankner reported she had received a letter of <br />complaint from John Martineau, who is moving into <br />8401 Fairchild. Referred to staff for a response. <br />Mayor Hankner noted that while preliminary levies <br />had been certified earlier in the meeting for the <br />budget, the Council needs to look at it closely and <br />give Staff clear direction. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley had no report. <br />• <br />An unidentified individual reported on recent <br />changes made at the Anoka County Airport. He <br />explained those changes are dictated by the FAA, not <br />the MAC. <br />Mr. Mielke stated he hoped the Council was reviewing <br />the surface water management goals and policies. <br />There being no further business, Mayor Hankner <br />adjourned the meeting at 10:1'5. <br />tted, <br />25.
