Mounds View City Council August 14, 1989 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />• Mayor Hankner closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 7:09 PM. <br />Councilmember Blanchard requested that the restaurant <br />license for Loose Ends on 10 be removed under Item E <br />of the consent agenda. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Paone to approve the consent <br />agenda, minus the restaurant license renewal for <br />Loose Ends on 10, and waive the reading of the <br />resolutions. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Blanchard suggested, since there had been <br />so much trouble with the kitchen at Loose Ends on 10, <br />that someone from that establishment come in and <br />talk to the Council at the agenda session, rather <br />than setting this on automatic renewal. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley advised he had no further <br />information on the bankruptcy. The Ramsey County <br />Health Department has advised the kitchen facilities <br />are now in compliance with County code. <br />• Motion/Second: Blanchard/Paone to table the renewal <br />of the restaurant license for Loose Ends on 10 for <br />two weeks, with the stipulation that someone comes <br />in and talks to the City Council at the next agenda <br />session. <br />5 ayes 0 nays. <br />Mayor Hankner closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the second public hearing at 7:12 PM. <br />Ms. Hren reviewed the request of the applicant for a <br />major subdivision at approximately 8140/8212 Long Lake <br />Road. The Planning Commission has. reviewed the <br />request and recommends approval to the Council of this <br />stage of the major subdivision. The Planning <br />Commission will continue to discuss the proposed <br />development of Outlot A. Staff has reviewed the con- <br />cept plan for potential development of Outlot A and <br />the lots fronting on Eastwood. The Planning Commission <br />held an informational meeting with the residents <br />located within 350' of the property. It is the con- <br />census of the Planning Commission from that meeting to <br />keep options open for future development of that <br />area. <br />7.
