Regular Meet'ng Page Eight <br />residents, b t they were not opposed to the signs <br />• being constr cted of metal. <br />Motion/Secon Quick/Paone to amend Resolution <br />No. 2569 by pecifying under number 1 that the signs <br />be metal. <br />5 ayes nays <br />Jerry Linke, 2319 Knoll Drive, questioned why card- <br />board wouldn't be used, as the signs would only be <br />up a few wee s. <br />Mr. Minetor xplained the idea is the City would <br />purchase the signs and make them available, and <br />cardboard wo ld not be reusable, whereas metal signs <br />could be reu ed and would be much more legible. <br />Clerk/Admini trator Pauley pointed out the resolu- <br />tion calls f r placement within 10 days of making <br />application, and some development can take two to <br />six months before action is finalized, and cardboard <br />would not last that long.
