Mounds View City Council August 13, 1990 <br />Regular Meeting Page Five <br />Barb Haake, 3024 County Road I, stated she appreciated <br />the statement read by Mayor Hankner as it helped answer <br />many questions. She cited Minnesota law, Chapter <br />471.705 Sub. 1 C b, which defines special meetings, and <br />the section concerning emergency meetings. She felt <br />there were some unanswered questions concerning the <br />meetings held, which she hoped would be answered at <br />some point, as well as other questions which remain. <br />Mayor Hankner responded that under the data privacy <br />act, the Council cannot release information, but Mr. <br />Pauley can make a statement, if he chooses to. <br />Attorney Meyers stated the termination did not involve <br />an issue of dishonesty or moral turpitude. <br />Bill Frits, .8072 Long Lake Road, questioned what the <br />status or sequence of events was to require an <br />emergency meeting, and whether minutes were taken. <br />He also questioned whether Mr. Pauley resigned before <br />or after accepting the position in California. <br />Mayor Hankner stated there were two meetings, and- <br />-~ Council relied on the advice of Mark Karney and <br />' ~g2sted all inquiries be directed to him.
