Resolution 9009-14 <br />Page 5 <br />1128.06 EXISTING USES AND STRUCTURES: Uses and structures in this <br />District that were conforminq prior to the effective date of this Ordinance will remain <br />conforminq upon adoption of this Ordinance. <br />Subd. 1. All subsequent additions, exterior alteration and accessory buildinqs <br />constructed after the erection of an oriqinal buildinq after the date of adoption of this <br />ordinance, shall: <br />a. Be constructed of materials comparable to those used in the oriqinal <br />construction, and, <br />b. Be desiqned in a manner conforminq to the oriqinal structure's architectural <br />desiqn and appearance, and, <br />c. Meet all other standards set forth in this ordinance. <br />WHEREAS, amending the City Code to add definitions and regulations for cargo <br />containers would better serve the public and would clarify the zoning requirements; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission concurs that an amendment <br />to the City Code is warranted and justified. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission recommends approval of amendments to Chapters 1102, 1103 and 1106 <br />of the Mounds View City Code to add regulations as defined herein. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission directs <br />staff to forward this resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes. <br />Adopted this 2"d day of July, 2014. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />c� <br />_ � °� V <br />Jessica Birken, Acting C air <br />�,. � c'v�ti�e�i �-'xa'r�--^, <br />James Ericson, City Administrator <br />
