TOWER: Any ground-mounted, pole, spire, structure or combination thereof, <br />including supporting lines, cables, wires, braces and masts, to which a <br />telecommunications antenna is attached or affixed. (Ord. 588, 2-10-97) <br /> <br />Subd. 7. Subd 8. TOWER, LATTICE: Three (3)- or four (4)-legged steel girdered structures <br />typically supporting multiple communications users and services generally ranging from <br />sixty feet (60’) to two hundred feet (200’) in height. (Ord. 588, 2-10-97) <br /> <br />Subd. 8. Subd 9. TOWER, MONOPOLE: Single pole design, approximately three feet (3’) in <br />diameter at the base narrowing to approximately one and a half feet (1½’) at the top, <br />generally ranging from twenty five (25) to one hundred twenty five feet (125’) in height. <br />(Ord. 588, 2-10-97) <br /> <br />Subd. 9. Subd 10. UTILITY POLE: Pole used to support essential services such as power, <br />telephone, or cable TV lines; or used to support street or pedestrian way lighting, <br />typically located in public rights-of-way or boulevards. (Ord. 588, 2-10-97) <br /> <br />Subd. 10. Subd 11. WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES: Licensed or unlicensed <br />wireless telecommunication services including cellular, digital cellular, personal <br />communication services (PCS), specialized mobile radio (SMR), enhanced specialized <br />mobile radio (ESMR), commercial or private paging services, or similar services <br />marketed or provided to the general public. (Ord. 588, 2-10-97) <br /> <br /> <br />1124.03: ALLOWANCE FOR TOWERS AND ANTENNAE BY ZONING <br />DISTRICT: <br /> <br />Subd. 1. Permitted Uses, All Districts: Wireless telecommunication towers and antennae shall be <br />allowed in any district as a permitted use only as provided below: <br /> <br />d. Small Wireless Facility: Small Wireless Facilities located on non-decorative utility <br />poles within the public right-of-way, shall be permitted in all zoning districts and <br />must be in compliance with Title 900 (Public Ways and Property).
